Frangipani after the rain, Singapore – September 2013
Two things that Singapore has in abundance are rain and frangipanis – my favourite flowering trees in all the world. This photo represents the perfect combination of the two.

Thanks Rosa – the raindrops really made the shot for me 🙂

Absolutely GORGEOUS!! How I love frangipani. 🙂 I’m so glad I’m in a part of the world where I get to see them. 🙂
Jeanne says
You are so lucky, Krista! I dream one day of once again living in a country where they grow easily… also bougainvillea.

My mom used to have one in her garden and I’ve always thought I would like one. Just never gotten round to it
Jeanne says
We had one in our garden too (although it was the yellow one) – I think EVERYBODY has one in PE! The climate obviously suits them. I always think about driving down Mount Road and seeing a frangipani in almost every garden on the way down the hill 🙂
