Paper lanterns, Singapore Chinatown – September 2013
Everyone I ask seems to associate Singapore with high-rise apartments and glitzy hotels – but take the time to explore one of the more diverse neighbourhoods and you will see a different city. Chinatown is a bustling community full of Chinese shops, restaurants and temples – and a sea of pastel-coloured paper lanterns strung across every street. A feast for the eyes, and the tongue!

I know, right?? Makes me want to string them up in my garden 🙂 Imagine stringing them between the bluegums on the farm for a party! Just keep the goats away 😉
