Reflections, Vigelands Park, Oslo – December 2012
Vigeland Sculpture Park is a part of Frogner Park, located in Oslo, Norway. The park covers 80 acres and features 212 bronze and granite sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland. The theme of the scupltures is “humanity in all its forms” and the statues depict children, adults and elders in the act of fighting, loving, dancing, despairing, celebrating and nurturing. It is a truly remarkable place, particularly at sunrise on a wintry morning when melted snow provides reflecting ponds that encourage you to see the statues from new angles.
