I lived in Portugal as a nanny for a couple of months, and I remember being in awe of the tiles. 🙂 Their beauty and intricacy and how amazingly they brighten up the dreariest spaces. 🙂 These are lovely.

The tiles are quite fantastic, aren’t they? I could not stop taking photos of them! Also, those incredible mosaic pavements that the Portuguese exported to all their colonies too.

Oh you must! There is no part I do not like. Porto and the north has such an interesting history; Lisbon is a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds; and the Algarve and coastal Alentejo is away with some of the most spectacular seafood and scenery you could want. Just go!
