TerraVentoux vineyards, Provence – June 2012
Last month we took a road trip through the Vaucluse region of Provence, France, eating wodnerfull food, drinking excellent wine, and meeting fascinating and passionate people connected to the food and wine industry. One of the best things we did was a bike tour through the vineyards of the vineyards of Cave TerraVentoux (on which I will do a complete post soon). This was taken in one of their vineyards with Mont Ventoux in the background. The mountain is the highest in the area and gained fame through playing frequent host to the Tour de France, and because its bald limestone summit makes it appear snow-capped all year round.

A bike tour through the vineyards sounds like fun, I’m off to the south of France soon and might try to get one in while there as well!
