Surf’s up – Noordhoek, Cape Town – Feb 2011
Noordhoek beach is a long, wide sandy beach located below Chapman’s Peak on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula, approximately thirty-five kilometres to the south of Cape Town. The name “Noordhoek” was taken from Dutch and literally means “north corner”. The beach is much loved by walkers and horseriders and is the perfect place to enjoy sundowners as the sun sets over the breakers. This shot was taken from the venue for last year’s South African Food and Wine Blogger Indaba – and if you missed that, the 2012 Indaba will be taking place on 24 June 2012 in Cape Town. Don’t miss out – registrations open soon!
