Regent’s Canal Reflections – London, January 2008
The Regent’s Canal is a canal which links Limehouse Basin on the Thames to the Paddington branch of the Grand Union Canal in North London. It provides many kilometres relatively tranquil towpath walking or cycling in the middle of a city, and some quintessentially London views. At the Limehouse end, views tend to be more urban (like this one); whereas along the stretches near Regents Park and the London Zoo, the towpath is greener and you are more likely to find lovely surprises like this serene floating Chinese restaurant.
