Daffodil runner – Green Park, London 2009
How do you know you’ve become a boring old grown-up? When running through fields of daffodils in the park no longer sounds like the most fun thing you could possibly do on a sunny Spring afternoon.
This is part of a series of non-food photographs that will be published every Saturday on CookSister. All photographs previously featured may be viewed on my Saturday Snapshot archive pages. Many photos featured in Saturday Snapshots are available to buy as high-quality greeting cards or prints in my RedBubble store. They make gifts, for friends or for yourself!

I’m old. You can’t take it away from me….and I’d much rather run through fields of dandelions than daffs!

We just had a weekend full of joy with the kids running through the fields of Texas Bluebonnets. We did not run:-( rather wanted to lie down amongst the blooms and the bugs.

That must really be an awesome feeling running through a field of flowers like that. Or just lying down on your back and looking up at the sky.

Haha, we’ll have to ask a boring old grownup what they *do* think is fun on a weekend afternoon 😉 Lovely picture as always Jeanne!
