The shade of things to come – August 2008
Despite the past few days of mild weather, the ornamental cherry tree outside my window seems to be saying “hah, you may be wearing your bikini but a few warm days can’t fool me. I know what’s coming…”.

The strange ways of nature…I love it when leaves begin to change colour. Great shot Jeannie & I’m beginning to love my Saturday dose! It’s strange here;when winter approaches we see loads of new leaves & the flowering season begins!! My birds eye chili also flowered wildly, gave me beautiful red chillies. But the blessed chillies caught the nightingale’s eye who made a meal of each one of them! Back to nought!! What a life!
Ah, there is no denying it now is there? Autumn is well and truly on the way. What a weekend though! totally unexpected too. I am even using the bbq today!
