Well, my husband has repeatedly shaken his head and expressed his sad opinion that I’ve turned into a geek with a weird obsession (i.e. blogging). But bah humbug to him – last month “blog” was chosen as word of the year by US dictionary publisher Merriam-Webster, so clearly I’m not alone in my geekdom! And hot on the heels of that report comes this great piece specifically on food bloggers that appeared in the Boston Globe yesterday. It was as if I was reading an article about my friends – Pim, Clotilde, Kate, Fatman Seoul and Adam. But best of all, in the final paragraph, Pim very kindly mentions me! In the Boston Globe! Yipppeeee!! Thanks Pim! Anthony also gets a look in, even though nobody’s sure about where he really resides, international Man of Mystery that he is… 😉
So well done to our food blogging community for slowly but surely creeping into the collective consciousness – may we go from strength to strength!

Space and time are so 20C, I am both nowhere and everywhere. [thumb chime]
Well deserved reflected glory

Anthony,
Omniscient, omnipotent and now omnipresent. Is there nothing this man can’t do?? Enjoy your share of the glory, wherever on the space-time continuum you happen to be.
Pim says
um..I actually meant to say Jeanne from South “America”, ha ha.

Ah well, as Anthony said, space and time are so last century. Who says I can’t be in South America AND South Africa (and, erm, London…) Besides, any publicity is good publicity!! 😉
