London tulips – St Paul’s, April 2009
The first spring I spent in London, I was awestruck by the appearance of the tulips. Every flowerbed in the city that had appeared lifeless only a month prevously, exploded in a sea of vibrant colour, with shades varying from the most delicate lemon yellow to deep purple to this exuberant fountain of yellow and orange. I could not walk past a bed without taking a photo. Nine years on, nothing has changed 🙂
